Jamie "Bubba" Vaughan is the Republican candidate for State Representative in Connecticut's 25th District, proudly representing the people of New Britain.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, elected Constable for the City of New Britain, and proud to have served four years on the New Britain Veterans Commission, Jamie has dedicated his life to serving others. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the New Britain Republican Town Committee. For more than 25 years, Jamie has worked alongside local law enforcement, first responders, businesses, and residents throughout Connecticut, building a career centered on service, leadership, and solving problems.

Jamie is a devoted husband, proud father, and lifelong New Britain resident who believes that family is the foundation of every strong community. His faith in God, love of country, and commitment to protecting the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution guide both his personal life and his public service.

Jamie is running for State Representative because he believes Connecticut families deserve a government that works for them, not special interests. He is committed to lowering the cost of living, supporting law enforcement, protecting parental rights, improving educational outcomes, defending the Second Amendment, standing up for our veterans, and bringing common-sense conservative leadership back to Hartford.

For more than 50 years, District 25 has been represented by the same political party. Jamie believes New Britain deserves a fresh conservative voice that will fight for working families, restore accountability, and put people before politics, not political parties.
